Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Raypon KIDS ("Raypon", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit raypon.net, purchase our children's clothing, create a customer account, or contact us. This policy applies to the Raypon KIDS store available at https://raypon.net, except where another provider acts independently as explained below.

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@raypon.net. This policy provides information about our practices; using the website does not by itself constitute consent to optional marketing, advertising cookies, or other processing that requires consent.

1. Personal information we collect

  • Contact and account information: your name, email address, telephone number, delivery and billing addresses, and account details you provide.
  • Orders and transactions: products and sizes selected, purchases, delivery status, returns, exchanges, refunds, payment status, and transaction references. Our payment providers collect the payment credentials needed for your chosen method; we receive information needed to administer and reconcile the transaction, which may include limited payment-method details.
  • Communications and preferences: messages to customer service, information supplied to resolve an issue, email subscription choices, and privacy preferences. If you choose to submit a review or photo, we also receive that content.
  • Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, approximate location inferred from IP address, pages and products viewed, shopping-cart activity, referral information, and cookie or similar identifiers. Collection depends on the tools in use and your consent or opt-out choices.

We obtain information directly from you, automatically through the website, and from providers helping us operate the store, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery providers, and support or marketing providers where used. Information needed to take payment and deliver an order is necessary to complete your purchase; without it, we may be unable to fulfil the order. Other information, such as an optional marketing subscription, is voluntary.

Please do not send payment-card security codes, complete card details, government identification, or sensitive information about you or a child through ordinary email, reviews, or contact forms.

2. How we use information

  • Provide the website and customer accounts; process purchases and payments; arrange shipping; and handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Respond to enquiries and send order, delivery, account, and other service communications.
  • Detect fraud, investigate payment disputes, protect accounts, and maintain website security.
  • Maintain accounting and transaction records and meet legal obligations.
  • Understand store performance and improve products and the shopping experience, subject to applicable privacy choices.
  • Send promotional emails where you have subscribed or another lawful permission applies, and measure their effectiveness. Where required, we obtain consent first.
  • Where advertising features are used, show and measure relevant advertisements, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

3. Legal bases where European or UK data protection law applies

We rely on performance of a contract, or steps you request before entering one, for purchases, payment, delivery, and related support. We rely on legal obligations for required accounting, tax, and regulatory records. Our legitimate interests include preventing fraud, securing the store, resolving disputes, and improving our service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. We rely on consent for processing that requires it, including certain cookies and marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Withdrawing optional consent does not prevent an ordinary purchase.

4. Who receives personal information

We disclose information as needed for the purposes above to:

  • Shopify: to host and operate the store, checkout, and associated commerce services.
  • Payment providers: the processor, acquiring bank, card network, or other provider involved in the payment method selected at checkout. This includes Oceanpayment when it processes your payment. Information can be used for authorization, authentication, fraud checks, settlement, refunds, and dispute handling.
  • Fulfilment and delivery providers: to pack, deliver, track, and manage returns, including customs handling where needed.
  • Technology and business service providers: providers of hosting, customer support, communications, analytics, and professional advice, as relevant to the services they supply.
  • Advertising partners, where used: to deliver or measure advertising, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law.
  • Authorities and other necessary recipients: when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect rights, or address legal claims. Information may also be transferred in a business sale or reorganization, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.

Service providers acting on our behalf are expected to use personal information for the services they provide and under applicable contractual and legal protections. Some recipients, such as payment providers or Shopify for certain services, determine their own processing purposes and have separate privacy obligations.

5. Shopify's role

Our store uses Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide commerce services to us and may process information for its own services under its Consumer Privacy Policy.

If Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store, Shopify may use information about interactions with this store together with information from other merchants to provide enhanced services, including personalization and advertising-related features. Applicable consent and opt-out choices apply. You can read Shopify's policy above and use the Shopify Privacy Portal for rights relating to Shopify's independent processing. You may also contact us about information we control.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices

We use cookies and similar technologies to support functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, security, and remembering choices. Other technologies may support preferences, analytics, or advertising. Non-essential technologies that require consent must remain inactive until consent is given. You can change available preferences through the store's cookie controls. Browser settings can also remove or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect shopping functions.

Some disclosures to advertising partners may be considered a "sale", "sharing", or "targeted advertising" under certain US state laws even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you can opt out through Your Privacy Choices or contact us. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law. A browser-based choice may apply only to that browser or device; use the account option where available or contact us to request an account-level choice.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Essential messages about orders, refunds, or account security are separate from marketing subscriptions.

7. International processing

Information may be processed in the country where our operating company is based and in other countries where Shopify and our payment, technology, or delivery providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where European or UK law requires safeguards for a restricted transfer, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as approved standard contractual clauses and relevant UK transfer provisions, together with additional measures where required. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy. We do not treat simply using the website as consent to a restricted international transfer.

8. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable legal retention and dispute periods. Order, payment, and refund records are kept for the applicable accounting, tax, and claims periods; account information is kept while needed to operate the account; support records are kept while needed to resolve issues and related claims. Marketing information is kept while permitted for that purpose, with a minimal suppression record where needed to respect an unsubscribe request. Cookie retention depends on the particular cookie and the relevant provider's settings; see the Shopify Cookie Policy for information about Shopify technologies.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, subject to lawful retention and ordinary backup cycles. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the law applicable to our business, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, receive portable information, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Where applicable, you may also have rights concerning sensitive information or decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Email hello@raypon.net to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity; please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and provide a suitable method. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, with appropriate authorization and verification. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions, such as keeping transaction records required by law.

We respond within the period required by applicable law. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, this is normally within one month; where a relevant US state law applies, it may be 45 days. If a lawful extension is necessary, we explain it within the initial response period. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If we decline a request, we explain the reason and, where applicable, how to appeal by replying to our response. You may complain to your local data protection or privacy regulator, including the ICO in the UK or the relevant supervisory authority in the EEA.

10. Children's privacy

Raypon sells children's clothing to adults, including parents and guardians. Our shopping services are intended for adults, not for children to create accounts or make purchases independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, or a higher age where applicable law requires it. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

If an adult supplies information about a child, for example in a support enquiry or a photo, that information is also handled under this policy. Please provide only what is necessary and what you are entitled to share. Permission to use a child's photo in advertising must be obtained separately; buying from us does not grant that permission.

11. External websites and policy changes

External websites and independently operated services have their own privacy notices. Linking to them does not make this policy apply to their independent activities or remove our responsibility for information we disclose.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or obtain fresh consent where required. Changes do not retroactively authorize processing that required consent.
